Russell Westbrook is the latest NBA star to give back to his community during the Holiday season. Westbrook's "Why Not?" Foundation teamed up with Citizens Caring for Children to deliver a Christmas party for 86 kids in foster care.
This is the second year in a row Westbrook has teamed up with CCC, an Oklahoma City based non-profit organization. CCC provides clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, mentors and other necessities to children who have been victims of either abuse or neglect and are now living in state custody.
Each child was sent him with a backpack full of gifts, including new shoes provided by the Jordan Brand, whom Westbrook is signed with.
