Last season Royce White didn't log a single minute with the Houston Rockets due to his severe anxiety disorder which kept him from flying with the team. This off season the Rockets dumped White to free up space for Dwight Howard, and now on the Sixers, Royce was positive he'd be able to travel with the team.
Unfortunately, contrary to what he said on media day, the new Sixers big man did not travel to Europe with the team. However, this appears to have been under the recommendation of the team doctor, and not White's personal choice.
According to the Spanish basketball website Solobasket, Royce White did not travel to Spain for the Sixers preseason game on Sunday against Bilbao. They will travel travel to Manchester, England for a preseason game on Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer also confirmed that White was not in Spain.
