Late in last night's Blue vs. White exhibition game between the 19 players competing for a spot on the Team USA roster, Paul George suffered a horrific leg injury, which will put his 2014-15 season in jeopardy.
The graphic video above shows Paul George trying to chase down James Harden for a block, but he comes down awkwardly on the basketball stanchion and his right leg completely gives out. After the injury, Coach K decided to call the game.
George was considered a lock to make the 12 man roster which will compete in the FIBA World Cup at the end of August. Team USA will still be a heavy favorite without George, though the main concern is that his 2014-15 season will be in jeopardy. His teammates and friends around the league who were all visibly shaken after the gruesome injury offered their condolences on twitter afterward.

George was gearing up for a big year next season, ready to shoulder a bigger load for the Pacers who lost Lance Stephenson via free agency. Last season with the Pacers, PG averages 21.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.
