Cleveland Cavaliers center Andrew Bynum will continue to be paid while he is on suspension, ESPN.com reported Sunday.

Bynum was suspended indefinitely Saturday for conduct detrimental to the team. He was docked one day of pay -- about $111,000. He missed Saturday's game against the Boston Celtics.

He remains excused from all team activities. That includes Sunday's game against the Golden State Warriors.

Bynum was suspended after an incident at Friday's practice, but the decision was reportedly due to the culmination of several incidents that occurred over the last several weeks.

The Cavaliers are looking into trading Bynum, who has reportedly lost the desire to play after missing all of last season with knee injuries.

Bynum is averaging 8.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 24 games this season.

---Former Denver Nuggets executive Rex Chapman told the Denver Post that a Nuggets player was high on marijuana in practice during the 2010 playoffs.

Chapman said the player was so high that he had to pull him aside to get him to focus.

Chapman, a 12-year NBA veteran, did not name the player.

The NBA started testing for marijuana in 1999.

---The Atlanta Hawks recalled guard Jared Cunningham from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League.

The Hawks are without small forward DeMarre Carroll (sprained right thumb), power forward Al Horford (torn right pectoral muscle) and shooting guard John Jenkins (low back pain) for Sunday's game at the Orlando Magic.

---The Indiana Pacers announced that they assigned rookie small forward Solomon Hill to Fort Wayne of the NBA D-League.

This is Hill's first D-League assignment. Hill is averaging 1.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 9.0 minutes over 16 games.
