Milwaukee Bucks owner Herb Kohl announced Monday he is seeking to add to the team's ownership group partners who are committed to keeping the team in Milwaukee and building a new arena.

There has been speculation for several years whether Kohl, a former U.S. senator, might sell the team.

"When I bought the Milwaukee Bucks back in 1985, it was for one reason-to keep the team here," Kohl said in a statement. "To this day, that remains a top priority. We are proud to be an NBA city. We are very grateful to our fans and business partners who support us."

--The Atlanta Hawks recalled guard Dennis Schroder from the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League, the team announced.

In addition, guard Jared Cunningham was assigned to the Jam.

--The Memphis Grizzlies signed forward James Johnson of the NBA Development League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the team announced.

Johnson (6-9, 245) joins the Grizzlies after averaging 18.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.90 steals and 3.40 blocks in 10 games for Rio Grande Valley this season.
