Louisville's Behanan suspended indefinitely

Louisville coach Rick Pitino said Thursday that AAC preseason first-team pick Chane Behanan is suspended indefinitely for violation of university policy.

Pitino did not elaborate on what policy he violated.

Behanan will not play in November, but Pitino said there is a chance he could return in December.

"We've put together a situation where he can come back on the team, but he's already missed one assignment in a short period," Pitino said.

Behanan, a junior, averaged 9.8 points and 6.5 rebounds last season. He started 37 of the 39 games he played.
