LeBron's Top-5 Dunks This Season

LeBron James turns 29 today. James is clearly the number 1 player in the NBA today and he has been on an absolute tear to start this season.

He's putting up his usual 25, 7, & 7 numbers but he has been crushing it with the dunks, especially in the month of December. It seems like every other game he is out doing himself with a dunk more eye popping than the last.

While he still refuses to do a dunk contest, we won't berate him on his birthday. Rather, we'll take a look at his top-5 dunks of the season so far. Although the season is young, there is plenty of material to choose from.

LeBron passed Larry Bird on the all-time scoring list with this massive windmill against the Kings just a few days ago. The dunk itself was something special, and the history it carries with it warrants a spot on the Top-5 list.

LeBron James did not disappoint on Christmas Day. Watching this live, I couldn't help but stand up and audibly yell when D-Wade threw it off the glass and LeBron adjusted to throw it down lefty. That type of athleticism is unheralded.

After this mammoth dunk, LeBron was worried about his pal Ben McLemore, and rightfully so. He said, "it sucks" because the two are good friends. You're not in Kansas anymore Ben, you have no friends.

As mentioned, LeBron had a huge night on Christmas Day in terms of dropping jaws. D-Wade and Bron connected on 2 alley-oops, both showcasing LeBron's athleticism.

The extension and ferocity in which he threw down this dunk is almost unbelievable, if we hadn't seen it done multiple times before. That said, this never gets old.

LeBron's posterizing dunk on Paul Millsap could go down as the dunk of the year. That is, of course, unless he out does himself again.

He was literally looking down into the rim when he soared over Millsap for this dunk. And when I say "literally," I mean literally, not like how girls use it in every other sentence.
