Lamar Odom Smoked Oxycontin & Cocaine On Mavs
Details of Lamar Odom’s personal issues continue to pour in, and things are looking even more bleak. Early reports were that Odom was using crack, and family members could not find him. His family has since said that they are with him trying to help him with his substance abuse issues.
Now TMZ reveals that this has been an on-going problem for The Goods for at least a couple years. Calling around to several hotels where the Mavericks would have stayed while on the road, when Lamar played for them, they received reports from employees claiming the rooms had been damaged, and it was clearly the result of drug use.
Some of the reports go back to when Odom was still with the Lakers, and that while with Dallas he was smoking Oxycontin, and cocaine.
Our sources say when Lamar left, hotel employees found major carpet damage ... including quarter-sized burn marks. The damage was so bad, the hotel had to replace the carpeting in the room.
Our sources say hotel employees also found white powder on the desk blotter and the room reeked of noxious smoke. Our sources say it was obvious there was serious drug use going on in the hotel room.
We've learned from several hotel employees ... they had complained about the state of the rooms when Lamar left -- similar to what happened in Memphis -- and this was while he was playing for the Lakers.
We're told that during at least part of the time he was playing for the Mavs, Lamar was smoking Oxycontin and cocaine.
