Knicks Owner Wants The Team's Cheerleaders To Stop Dancing

The owner of the New York Knicks, James Dolan, is upset about several things around the organization and even wants to stop the Knicks City Dancers from dancing.

During the Knicks' home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Dolan became irate and embarrassed that his team would be losing at home to a team that was in the lottery last year.  Following the Knicks breakthrough season last year which saw them finish with the second best record in the East, Dolan doesn't only have title aspirations, but expects his team to win it all this year.

This stress has caused the owner to start meddling with other parts of the team including the franchises famed Knicks City Dancers.  He wants to reduce their on court role and limit their dancing performances.

Dolan has become such a hands-on owner — figuratively speaking — that, according to a source, he doesn’t want the dancers dancing. Crazy, right? The same guy who wanted creative input on the dancers’ outfits (and he’s good at it) apparently ordered that the girls’ roles be reduced to mostly throwing T-shirts into the crowd. They performed maybe one routine on Sunday.

Why? No one seems to know, except the standard answer is usually “that’s Dolan."
