Kevin Garnett Fires Back At LeBron James
LeBron James called Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce out for attacking Ray Allen for leaving the Celtics, and then leaving themselves. Now Garnett has a response for James.
After Ray Allen bolted from Boston to join the rival Miami Heat, KG and Pierce were not too please. Now after they moved to the Nets, LeBron thought they were being a bit hypocritical, and both him and Dwyane Wade told the media it was unfair for them to blast Allen and then leave the team themselves.
The Nets and Heat played last night in a pre-season game and there was plenty of talk about the budding rivalry between the two Eastern contenders. Garnett was asked about the MVP's comments concerning him leaving the Celtics for the Nets, and the always-intense forward basically told LBJ to mind his own business.
James stirred things a bit Wednesday, saying he found it interesting that Garnett and Pierce, who were critical of Allen’s decision to leave Boston, had now moved on from the Celtics themselves.
“Tell LeBron to worry about Miami,” Garnett said when asked about the comments after the game. “He has nothing to do with Celtic business.”
There was also talk that the tension between the Celtics and the Heat has been transferred over with the Nets now that they acquired Garnett, Pierce, and Jason Terry.
