Tim Duncan was once ejected by Joey Crawford for laughing on the Spurs bench in a game against the Dallas Mavericks. He presumably took this as a sign of disrespect on Duncan's part, as his laughter was a likely reaction to a technical. Joey Crawford was actually suspended by the league for this and other incidents, but was allowed to return to his position in the year following the suspension. Crawford is not reffing game one, but you can expect him to take helm of atleast one of the games in the finals - he was also part of the crew that fouled out LeBron James against Indiana in the finals, so at least fans from both teams will have reason to question his every call.
