Asked about his contract being one of the worst of all-time, Gilbert Arenas admits it might be.
Yahoo recently published a list of worst contracts of all-time, and at the top of the list was Agent Zero's six-year $111 million contract he inked with the Wizards when he was an All-NBA talent. TMZ caught up with Gil and asked for his thoughts of topping the list, and to his credit Arenas laughed about it and admitted his contract could definitely be considered one of the worst.
He does stress that the big deal was for his work prior to signing the contract, and says that he was probably working harder on his game than anybody in the league...not named Kobe Bryant.
I'm number ONE? Of all time? Well, it could be, I'm not arguing that it's not.
You're trying to discredit what I did, what I did to get it. I was in that gym three times a day for six years that I was in Washington
I put more hours in, anybody besides, maybe Kobe.
I got hurt before I got the contract, and then I was rewarded...you get paid on what you did, not what you're going to do
