Gary Payton Hates The NBA

Gary Payton, Oregon State alum, was honored this past Saturday, after being inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. The Glove's son is following in his father's footsteps, and will attend OSU next season.

Gary took some questions from the media regarding his offspring, and eventually gave his stern, honest opinion on today's NBA. At about 9:25 he talks about how he "doesn't really like the basketball the way it is now in the NBA," so don't count on him becoming a coach.

Chris Paul, Rondo, and Tony Parker are the only point guards he likes, he hates the touch foul mentality, and obviously he despises the lack of defense. Gary is truly cut from that old-school cloth.
