Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather visited the Miami Heat's practice last weekend and imparted some knowledge on them about defending championships.  The Lakers were playing a pre season game at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and Floyd dropped by to hang out with Kobe Bryant and show some support for the Lakers guard who is still recovering from an Achilles injury.

Mayweather says that him and Kobe are pretty close and exchange text messages often.  The boxer says the two became pro around the same time, 17 years ago, and have that bound, "Me and Kobe have both been professionals for 17 years, he’s a good friend and I wish him nothing but the best – I want him to get healthy.”

Plus, Pretty Boy Floyd says the two can relate as there are only two types of people in the world, "the players, and the haters."
