Dwyane Wade is releasing a video which follows him during the Heat's recent championship season.
Wanting to give fans an inside perspective on what last season was like for him, with the pressures, and battling various injuries, Wade is putting together a video called "D. Wade's Journey to 3." The video will focus on his journey during the Finals and gives some exclusive looks into his training, including the night before Game 1 of the 2013 Finals where him and LeBron James got in an intense extra workout session in the gym which even saw the two sparring in the boxing ring.
"I think it's going to give people a different perspective on what it all meant to me," Wade said.
The video is titled "D. Wade's Journey to 3," a play on both his jersey number and his number of titles won so far with the Heat. A copy of the video was reviewed by The Associated Press this week.
"The only outcome I see is winning," Wade said on the night before Game 7 of the title series against San Antonio, those words coming early in the video. "I don't see no other thing but winning."
The title, "D. Wade's Journey to 3" is a play on his new self-appointed nickname. You may recall that after winning the title last year, at the post-game presser Wade told the media to only call him "Three" for now on, which is a play on his jersey number and the number of titles he's won. He even went so far as to change his Twitter handle.
