Story lines are running aplenty heading into the upcoming NBA season: How will Dwight Howard fit in Houston?  Who can win the battle of New York between the Knicks and the new-look Nets?  Can LeBron James and the Heat repeat?  How far can Derrick Rose take the Bulls?

The last story line is one of particular interest, as a healthy Chicago team may be one best suited to dethrone Miami.  Throughout his international D Rose Tour with adidas, we started to see more of the prodigal point guard, as he was mostly quiet while rehabbing his knee.  The tour, which saw Rose travel through Europe and Asia, spanned 10 countries and 13 major cities.  While we had heard from his coach that D Rose had his trademark explosiveness back, we finally heard it from the former MVP himself, and even started to see glimpses of him returning to the court.

His summer culminated with his return to Chicago, and a D Rose 4.0 launch party which also served as a celebration of Rose's return to the court.  In addition to the 5,000 person event at the United Center this past weekend, adidas also released "All In For Chicago" a D Rose promo ad that will give goosebumps to any Bulls, or Derrick Rose fan.  He asks if he deserves all the acclaim, and if he can realize the ultimate goal of winning an NBA championship with the Bulls.  Previously saying that he is returning stronger, and more explosive than ever, Rose says, "it's time to show the world that I can still do this."   It's an ad that's sure to stir some emotions for any NBA fan.

In a little over a month, the wait will be over and Derrick Rose will make his return to a regular season game, as the Bulls open their season against the defending champs, the Miami Heat.
