Dennis Rodman continues his self-appointed role as America’s diplomat for North Korea. The Worm returned to the communist country, and during a press conference in New York had some interesting remarks, including praising Kimg Jong Un, and wanting to train the men’s national basketball team for the next Olympics.
As he previously said, Rodman considers Jong Un a lifelong friend, and comes to the defense of the country saying it’s not a bad place, and stresses how he wants the U.S. to bridge the gap in their vastly different cultures.
“I’ll tell you guys one thing: take me seriously.” That was Dennis Rodman’s gloriously ironic closing remark during a press conference he held on Monday in New York City to announce that he would be training the North Korean national basketball team for the 2016 Olympics. The former NBA star visited Pyongyang for the second time in six months last week and again met with Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, whom he calls his “friend for life.”
