The Clippers continue to fortify their front court, and have now added a veteran presence in the way of Antawn Jamison.
Playing last year in L.A. but with the Lakers, Jamison will make the veteran’s minimum, which comes in at about $1.4 million.
Jamison will get a one-year deal paying the veteran's minimum. Chicago & Memphis were interested, but LAC have always been his #1 choice.— Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) August 26, 2013
In an interview with ESPN, Jamison says, he’s “just happy to be a Clipper and contend for a championship,” and he'll get a chance to compete for one in Los Angeles with the Clippers deepening their roster, getting Doc Rivers as new head coach, and securing Chris Paul for five more seasons.
