The Los Angeles Clippers contacted free agent shooting guard O.J. Mayo, according to multiple reports.
The Clippers are looking for a strong shooting guard to pair with point guard Chris Paul, who reportedly agreed to a five-year, $107 million contract.
Los Angeles also has combo guard Jamal Crawford and is looking to find an upgrade over Chauncey Billups and Caron Butler.
USA Today reported that the Clippers may have to do a sign-and-trade deal with Bledsoe to get Mayo from the Dallas Mavericks due to the salary cap restrictions.
