Bulls Say They Aren't Looking To Trade Deng

The Chicago Bulls are optimistic they'll be able to resign Luol Deng after this season, and thus, have no plans to move him before the trade deadline

The Bulls could potentially deal Deng before the deadline in an attempt to offload some payroll, and just play out the rest of the season with a mediocre roster. That doesn't seem to be in their plans though.

Next year, Chicago has a first round pick plus the Bobcats' pick, as long as it's not a top-10 selection. If Rose can finally get back on the court, with Jimmy Butler and Joakim Noah, Chicago could certainly afford to get rid of Deng and build with what is left.

If I was a Bulls fan, I'd be rooting for a Loul Deng trade.
